IDNPoker Review – Playing Poker Online in Asia

IDNPoker Network is one of the biggest poker networks in Asia. The platform holds a gambling license from the Philippine government’s PAGCOR, as well as a RNG certificate from the BMM Compliance Singapore Pte Ltd. Its main focus is in Asia, although it has a strong foothold in Europe, too.

IDN Poker has been in the online gaming space since 2010. The network was initially launched in Cambodia, but has expanded to other Asian countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, and China. As a result, it currently boasts over 10,000 concurrent users. Although it’s considered a leading B2B provider of online gaming platforms, it’s not particularly popular in the Western world.

While its client is a well-constructed HTML5 application, it lacks the features and functionality of a desktop client. For instance, it has a limited number of tables. In addition, it doesn’t allow players to multi-tabling, so they’ll have to create separate accounts. Plus, its lobby is simplistic. And while its website is fully translated into English, it does not promote its services outside of the Asian market.

Although it’s not the first web-based poker service to pop up, IDNPoker is now the third largest poker network worldwide. This is primarily due to its aggressive marketing campaign in the Asian markets.

The network’s success is thought to be attributed to its aggressive marketing in the local markets, as well as its participation in local charity events. But the fact that it was the first to provide a mobile poker client is also worth noting.
